Originally for eyeglass wire sizing in the optical industry, these pliers are great for spreading tube rivets up to 3 mm in diameter.
The riveting pliers are very easy to use. Just drill a hole the size of the rivet. Slide the tube through making sure the tube has no more than 1 mm excess length on each side. Press the pliers closed over the tube rivet, rotating at least three to four times, to spread the tube evenly.
